Downloadable Lectures for BIOL 200

We would like the lectures of BIOL 200 to be downloadable as well as streamable, due to the following reasons:

1) Some students may not have ready access to fast and capable internet at home, and so this prohibits them from being able to study well.
2) The Lecture Recording System has frequent downtime, and does not always allow the students to watch lectures on their own time.
3) When students do not have access to the internet but are studying the course and need to reference to a particular part of a lecture.

In fact, with enough effort, students can record the lectures off the internet and use them for copyright infringement, should that be the reason for not allowing downloadable content (e.g. Orbit Video Downloader etc.), however most are not interested in this and would appreciate the convenience of downloadable lectures.

We believe that there are numerous other reasons that could also be stated in favour of allowing downloadable content, and we ask that as Professors that promote proper education you allow us students to have full access to the recorded lectures.
