Dear 20th Century Fox:
We all love the Dragon Ball franchise, and when we heard that you were going to produce a movie based on it, most of us were very excited. The movie will be great if made correctly, and we know that you are capable of pulling it off.
BUT, once we started to know the details, we were not happy.
You are not following the story, and if you don't, then this movie shouldn't be made at all.
As I said before, we all love the franchise, and if you don't follow it correctly,
WE ARE NOT GOING TO SEE THE MOVIE.
The first thing that enraged us, was the fact that Goku is going to college.
That is a total invention of yours.
Also, according to the movie blog, grandpa Gohan was going to give Goku the 3-star dragonball, but he was killed by Piccolo's henchmen. It also hints that Piccolo will reveal Goku that he is a Saiyan.
All of this is TOTALLY DIFFERENT than the source material. We recommend you to check the anime/manga.
Also, up to this point no mention to Krillin has been made. You did mention the made-up character "Weaver".
We would also like to remind you that the characters should look as similar as possible as their anime counterparts.
Take Roshi, for example. In every Chow Yun-Fat promotional picture, he appears without Roshi's traditional beard and glasses.
If you don't make the necessary changes, I repeat:
WE ARE NOT GOING TO SEE THE MOVIE.
We have faith in that you will do what is correct.
