Facebook Old User Interface Petition

We, the undersigned petitioners, wish to object to the modifications that are being drawn upon us by the introduction of the new facebook user interface. As avid and passionate users and supporters of the old format/interface of the said website, we strongly oppose to alterations that we think are unneccesary & which serve only to distort the inherent uniqueness and quality of what is already a superior website. These changes are unwarranted, and unfortunately reduce HTTP://FACEBOOK.COM to the same level of banal, confusing, hackneyed, mediocrity- inhabited by most of its competitors such as MYSPACE and FRIENDSTER. Although we respect the right of FACEBOOK makers to innovate and evolve, we vehemently/fiercely ask that we, as users and supporters, be respected and allowed to continue with our own unique individual expressions, in the way that we ultimately seek to interface with the program. We therefore respectfully ask the management to revert the option to use the old format now that the changes come in to place.
