A petition to prevent ticket touting for arts, media and entertainment with the following objectives:
1)
To lobby auction sites such as eBay to stop tickets being sold at highly inflated prices. This does not mean stopping their sale altogether, but means that there should be a mechanism that only allows tickets to be sold for their face value, thus allowing people to sell their tickets for genuine reasons (i.e. they can't make it to a gig.)
2)
To lobby MP's to set up an Early Day Motion (EDM) to have this debate take place in Parliament hopefully making it unlawful to re-sell tickets at highly inflated prices.
3)
To get fans a fair deal when buying tickets.
