I am trying to get as many signatures as I possibly can for the release of my sister in law from jail. She has been wrongly sentenced to 10 years in jail serve 3. This is because of one day she went home and found a woman in her home with her husband and she was pregnant. The woman refused to leave and made a gesture that she was going to hit her, so in defense she picked up a cookie jar and hit her in the head with it not causing any damage but a scratch on her ear. I believe she should not have been convicted of such harsh time being a mother of three and no criminal record. Her baby was only just over a year old when she was sentenced and all attempts to get her out have failed. I am trying this in a desperate attempt to let the legal system know that her family will never give up until she is released and that they can't just put her away and hope no one cares.
