According to the U.S Constitution, I as an American citizen have th eright to freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Now according to this, I can speak freely and choose a religion I want, With out being pressured into it. My religion is pythagreist, a religion in which I make it up as I go along, we dont have to trust in god and we dont have People telling us wheither we are going to heaven or hell. Or religion is freedom to us and those who are pressured into religion. Since the school is making calssroom put th epicture frame with the american flag in it, and saying "in god we trust" i feel like that is pressuring me into something i dont want to. THose picture frames may mean something symbolic to you but to me I feel as if I am pressured to "trust in god" but I dont believe in him, so how does that work for me? i am an honor student, my GPA doesnt go below 3.5. I was taught these things in MR. Power Civics class and tend to use my full night to choose my religion and get my voice heard. These picture frames will provide a distraction to me and my fellow students who are like me and skeptical.
