This is a petition to MCA/Universal Pictures to release a Special Edition Region 2 DVD of Peter Jacksons cult classic, The Frighteners. Despite a good transfer I am disappointed with the current DVD version of the film. Now that Peter Jackson is a household name thanks to The Lord of the Rings, it would be a great time to release a Special Edition of The Frighteners.
The special edition we desire of is a port of the brilliant laserdisc version, published in 1998. We wish for the UNCUT 4 hour documentary and Peter Jacksons commentary to de included on the disc. A touch up transfer and DTS soundtrack wounded go astray either. Thank you for your consideration.

I have the cut non-anamorphic(didn't know this when I bought It)and I think the fans deserve the same special edition of the Laserdisc on DVD R1 and R2
