Getting Wal*Mart to Stop Selling Live Fish

To Whom It May Concern,





It has come to my attention, and to the attention of many others in the fish keeping community, that your stores (Wal*Mart Inc.) in many cases do not take proper care of the fish that you keep and sell. The fish are in poor conditon in many stores across the country. The employees being hired to take care of these fish do not have the proper knowledge of fish keeping needed to manage these fish properly, nore do they have enough knowledge to give out the proper advice to prospective customers. Many times we have been in one of your stores and an associate was giving poor advice and selling fish that are not compatible with eachother. Those in the fish community have tried time and time again to find ways to get your stores to clean up their departments and being taking better, more humane care of their fish. But even so, our actions have gone unnoticed, so now we are asking that Wal*mart stores have live fish removed all together. It's the only way to ensure that the fish won't be abused, poorly treated and sold to bad homes.
