Do you think our Graham children, those who attend school now and those who will in the decades to come, deserve a safe, education-friendly school? If you do, please sign this petition to get a new levy on the ballot while the Ohio State Facilities Commission program (the one where the state will pay for 56\% of the facility improvements and the local share would be 41\%) is still available to us!
Before they agree to place a levy on the ballot, the Graham Board of Education and administration want to be sure the community WANTS this opportunity so please let them know how you feel!
Officially speaking, the Graham Bond Levy Committee and all of those who have signed this petition and printed copies ask the Graham Local Board of Education, 370 East Main Street, Saint Paris, Ohio 43072, to please place a levy request for a new elementary building and other facility improvements on the May, 2005 ballot. We want our kids to have a new elementary school and for our educational facilities to be updated so the focus can be on learning and not the problems of the buildings. We also want to be fiscally responsible by using the money the state will pay to help in this effort, rather than later paying for it all ourselves.
Simply put, we're for the kids in school now and those to come, and for the community!
