We call on those responsible for the Pontio Project (a) to ensure that the number of trees cut down owing to the Pontio Project is minimised, and that a similar or higher number of comparable native trees are planted and protected in order to replace those that are removed; (b) to preserve College Park as a place of tranquility and mature woodland, and to develop the latter as an arboretum; (c) to explore further the potential for incorporating more renewable energy sources into the project, including photovoltaics; (d) to incorporate other environmentally and aesthetically beneficial measures into the project, including in particular living green walls.

I am very disapointed with the scheme to remove the trees from the site, apparantly just to make the building more visible. The building should blend into its surroundings, not attempt to dominate over them. The amount of information that has been covered
