Its time to open a Mayo Primary Care Center in Nassau County. According to statistics, Nassau County has a population of over 60,000 and 15\% are over the age of 65. The county is projected to grow at a rate of 3.5\% per year, over the next decade. The median household income is ranked as one of the highest counties in the state of Florida.
Many of the residents living in Nassau County commute over an hour to receive routine care at the Jacksonville Beach Mayo Center or at the main location on San Pablo. The Jacksonville Beach Mayo Center cannot continue to provide care to both Nassau County residents and surrounding communities. Nassau County residents want to drive only a short distance to meet with their family care physician. Also, a Mayo Primary Care Center on Amelia Island would prevent the cost and time of having to go to the local emergency room to receive treatment for a minor emergency.
The residents of Nassau County enjoy an active lifestyle which includes: strolling on the beach, swimming, bicycling, fishing, playing golf and/or tennis. Nassau County residents want only the best that health care has to offer from one of the top medical institutions in the United States!
Its time to break ground on a Mayo Primary Care Center here in Nassau County!!
