One Piece, an amazing Anime created by Eiichiro Oda, for a teenage audience.
In 2004, 4Kids Entertainment picked up the licence for the US English production of the show, in result, they butchered it! It was stripped down, kiddyfied, all character development, gone, entire episodes, wiped out, humor all lost, anything that made the show appear that it was made for teenagers was eradicated. The character voices were just sooo horrible, it was amzing that any company could use them. Oda-san spent hours of sitting through interviews so that he could find quality voices for his character, but the US English version has no qualities about it.
4Kids Entertainment has done such a below poor job with this series, they should give the licences rights to another company so they could produce a quality adaption, for a teenage audience, before One Piece is besmirched and degraded, anymore than it already has.
