Keep Conan on the Tonight Show

To Whom It May Concern,
Recent reports have shown that Jay Leno will receive his former "Tonight Show" time slot back due to poor ratings during prime time, therefore forcing current "Tonight Show" host, Conan O'Brien, to move to a 12:05 time slot. "The Tonight Show" is a historic comedy show where comedic greats such as Steve Allen, Jack Paar, and Johnny Carson have given us a witty view on our society. This move would destroy the long lasting dignity of the "Tonight Show" by splitting it into two separate hours.
Although Jay Leno admirably served seventeen years as Tonight Show Host, we, the undersigned, would like to ask NBC and it's affiliates to allow Conan O'Brien to keep his historic "Tonight Show" hosting duties. Conan has earned his position as host after years of dedication to the "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and so far has done a terrific job. He should not be forced to step aside or be placed in another time slot just because Jay's Prime Time ratings have hurt late night ratings.
We believe Jay's "Tonight Show" reign has lasted long enough, and if he were to resume the 11:35 time slot we, the undersigned, will continue to not watch Jay and instead watch Conan at 12:05 (to the best of our abilities). Thank you for your time and your consideration.

Jay had his time on "The Tonight Show", now let Conan have his! And at 11:35, where it belongs. Johnny Carson, Jack Parr, and Steve Allen would be outraged if this historic show moves.
