Hello former alumni of Japanese at Uni,
So here's the story:
Sensei is currently facing a sort of "forced retirement" to put it nicely. The new principal has deemed that Japanese is no longer required to be taught at Uni and should be replaced by Chinese. Now, we all know how wonderful Sensei is, and we all know how wonderful her class is, so now's the time when we're needed to stand up for her. The first step is to sign this petition and find anyone else that's interested to sign it as well. Through this we can establish a group voice in support of this effort. The second would be to take the personal front and write a letter to Uni, notably the principal. This is equally, if not more, important than signing the petition, since nothing matters more than proving the strength of our feelings toward this damaging decision.
If you know of other people who took Japanese, please send them the same message, link them here, or whatever means you deem necessary to spread the word.
