We the undersigned wish to express our anger regarding the potential housing development on the White House school site on Finchampstead Road. The White House School is in a location which has little in the way of community assets, and which does not need new housing adding further burden to already stretched local schools and road systems.
Evendons is in desperate need of some investment that will bring back a sense of community and give a focal point to the area. We believe the White House School site should be retained for educational and community use.
We urge Wokingham Borough Council to reconsider their position on buying the property as a community asset. Sign our petition and support our campaign to keep the White House School site as a resource for all!
