We, the undersigned petition the UK Home Office to stop the deportation of a Kurdish family, Nazim Kilic, his wife Hefez and their two children Shilan and Nujan.
Nazim is from a famous Kurdish political family and has campaigned for ten years in support of the Kurdish Freedom Struggle and will face detention and torture on arrival in Turkey.
We believe that this family who has settled in Brighton and are part of that community have suffered enough.
They have already suffered enough trauma when they were forcibly torn from their community and house on the 5th Jan and put into a detention centre.
They have been taken to Heathrow airport and the UK immigration authorities attempted to force them onto aeroplanes.
They resisted and have been taken back to Yarlswood Detention Camp.
This young family do not deserve such barbaric treament and should be released and allowed to stay in this country under humanitarian reasons.
