Since the beginning of time, equality has been focused on human beings- ignoring animals, plants and even non-living things.
Who's to say that they too don't have a voice? Some might say that their unenthusiastic response to persecution displays their content, or their lack of awareness/spinal cord/brain, but we believe differently. Their voices are muted, hushed and oppressed by the brutal hands that are annihilating the species through systematic rubbing, flipping, biting, and callous behaviour such as throwing.
