Lift the Suspension of Dr. Dara's Medical License

We, the undersigned, wish to have the temporary suspension of his medical license lifted, allowing Dr. Parvez Dara to continue with in-office consultations, as was previously determined by the NJ State Board of Health on March 23, 2009. By suspending Dr. Dara's medical practice, thousands of patients will be without proper care for months, if not longer, as local practices will be unable to absorb the vast amount of patients currently being treated by Dr. Dara. To put patient care at risk is surely not the objective of this board.
Following the testimony of both Dr. Dara and the NJ Board of Medical Examiners, it is clear that all evidence presented against him in this case is inconclusive. On April 3, 2009 , the NJ State Board of Health was unable to prove that the infections were transmitted in his office. As a result of this, we believe the decision against him was not only delivered without due process, but possibly motivated by outside factors such as the media and other pressures.
Dr. Parvez Dara has practiced Oncology and Hematology in Toms River, NJ for 30 years. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.

We, the undersigned, believe that Dr. Daras license should not be suspended. We are asking the NJ State Board of Health to allow Dr. Dara to continue to consult his patients while the investigation is ongoing.
