As residents of Long Grove we respectfully request that The Cloverleaf Group, the developers of Long Grove Commons, change the existing color scheme of this project. Please create a retail center that reflects the historic look and feel of the Village of Long Grove.
The extremely bright contrasting colors create a very chaotic Disney-like effect detracting from the architecture of the buildings. As painted, these buildings do not recreate the look of historic downtown. Kindly consider soft, muted tones, similar to the National City Bank building for a more pleasing palette and a better reflection of Long Grove's character.
