The purpose of this petition is to have the 2-D Fighting Game Engine known as M.U.G.E.N. available for the PS3. The reason the PS3 was chosen is because it has a non-proprietary, easily interchangeable HDD which is a necessity for a game like M.U.G.E.N. which allows players to download characters, stages, music, and created characters.
We believe that this would be beneficial for all concerned and would foster a large, user-centric, community of competitive gamers who love 2-D fighting games. Even if a version of the Engine with pre-loaded characters and other features were made to be available for the Playstation Network, it would be a hit.
