Mandatory jail time for child molesters

MANDATORY JAIL TIME FOR CHILD MOLESTERS. My step-daughter was molested by her biological maternal grandfather. He has been indicted on 11 counts of sexual assault, some with incest and some by a guardian. We need to change the laws and make them more strict for child molesters, even if it is the first time they are being charged. Let's keep them from hurting other children by letting them out with a slap on the hand. Child molesters need to serve mandatory time in jail! Why should they get the chance to start their life over right away when the victim doesn't ever get that chance to change what has happened to them. The victim lives with what the child molester did to them for the rest of their lives. Harsher punishment for child molesters!
