Michael Caesar in the Boondocks

This is a petition expressing the need to have Michael Caesar appear in the Boondocks television series as he did in the comic strip. This is in response to 3 seasons of the program on adult swim with various speculation surrounding a few episodes (namely most recently the fun-raiser). The Boondocks itself has representations of African American males (albeit most are extremes) but the show in its current form lacks the middle of the road modern product of all aspects of the culture that Caesar provides. He serves as the best balance to Huey's melancholy, cynical approach towards life as he provides a lighter, more optimistic version. This is especially a problem seeing how almost every other character (except Hiro) from the strip has been introduced (Cindy, Jasmine and even Mr. Petto) and yet still as of the end of season 3 (summer 2010)and still... no Michael Caesar. We need the Free Huey World Report and that is brought by both characters. It would make for much easier stories as the relationship with Caesar and Huey is a much better contrast than any other that has been presented as Caesar is for the most part, the only character that can bring more "human" characteristics out of his BEST FRIEND, Huey. Woodcrest is in dire need of the dreadlocked Jamaican rapper and now there is no excuse for character design or voice talent search to not be completed. Its bad enough a season takes 2 to 3 years to be released. Come on Mr. McGruder put Caesar in the show. Even Rodney Barnes said on the dvd commentary that he would appear in season 3. Don't toy with your loyal fans and keep us in suspense. We want Caesar immediately!!! For real son!!! Brooklyn!!!
