I am a fan of the late Mitch Hedberg. I feel he was one of it not the most innovative comedian of this generation. He gained a large fan base that spanned the continent and did it without being dirty (a rarity these days). In his lifetime he was a part of several comedy tours and appeared on various talk shows including his 10 performances on Late Night with David Letterman. However, he was never able to reach his goal of an HBO special. I think it would be an amazing tribute if HBO were to present a Mitch Hedberg memorial special. The show could include guest appearances by Mitchs friends who toured with him or had him on their shows. HBO could also show classic clips from Mitchs live performances. I know this special would be a success for HBO and it would be a wonderful tribute to a wonderfully funny man. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
