Move HOUSE to Mondays

We, the loyal fans of the FOX television program HOUSE, wish to petition the network to consider moving the show to Monday nights at 8pm as soon as possible, rather than wait until January.
HOUSE has built a strong following worldwide but thanks to the Baseball Playoffs, it will now be on hiatus during the entire month of October. We cannot help but feel that this action will harm the show's future. Its ratings have already suffered due to strong showings from competitive programs in the same time slot.
If four weeks are allowed to pass without a new episode of HOUSE, it can only further weaken it in the ratings. This cannot be allowed to happen to such a high quality program such as this.
Its writing is remarkable, intelligent and thought-provoking. Its cast is strong and likeable and its star, Hugh Laurie, has won the hearts of many viewers.
Please do not allow this fine example of programming to simply fade away due to predetermined scheduling. A move now will strengthen the show's following and will set the tone for January's return of 24.

this show is a gem. there really hasn't been anything like it. it has a been a marvelous success and seeing it die would break my heart, and is also a poor decision on FOX's part. and what with new Tuesday dramas like Commander in Chief, a month long hiat
