Movies for Grownups - Quality Films

She talks about the lack of quality films with mature women in roles of interest and import for mature audiences. Films based on interesting story lines without special effects and high speed chases are not being funded. She and other mature, great actresses have few roles available to them. There is a great waste of talent. The Hollywood production companies do not want to fund these films because they dont think there would be an audience. We are here to say we are that audience. Even actresses with the range of Meryl Streep do not have parts. We are here to say we would attend and support these productions if more were available to us. The popularity of the T.V. show The Golden Girls is proof enough that we are here.
