The people of the Philippines object to the resolution passed by the provincial board of Batangas as presided over by Vice Gov. Mike Leviste supporting the idea of Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto to erect a 14 meter tall and 110 meter wide Batangas sign on Taal Volcano island.
Taal volcano is the patrimony of the entire nation, not by a single province, and certainly not by a few elected officials.
