We seek to address violations of members' rights to attend club functions and their animals daily needs without being, harassed, jeered at or called trash.
Purpose of our club:
To stimulate interest in horsemanship and to provide an organization through which military members and their families can participate in riding activities and, equine care and maintenance. Occasionally the OD Saddle Club will invite non-military persons to join as "associated members" for whom clear and concise guidelines exist.
We, the undersigned, call on the president of the OD Saddle Club, MCpl. Steve Byford to intercede on behalf of these members to effect an immediate dismissal of Ms. Dianne Wuestner as the secretary of the executive committee as well as to revoke her associate membership to the club.
Ms. Wuestner has consistently demonstrated her inability to record the minutes of meetings accurately and further to this point appears incapable of forwarding this information to members electronically. We have all been the recipients of endless "misdirected" and "unfortunate miscommunications" from her.
She has unjustly referred to members and former members as "TRASH" and to their animals as "DOG FOOD" and "GOOD FOR THE GLUE FACTORY." These comments have proven extremely hurtful and have led several long standing members to cancel their memberships with the club. Furthermore, this relentless bullyish behaviour has created a very uncomfortable environment for those of us remaining on the premises and reflects extremely negatively on our club, 4-WING and the Canadian Military in general.
We have been instructed by Mr. Joe Bedard to present you with this petition for immediate action. We trust that this matter will be addressed without further delay.
