I would like to start a petition so that the media must state on an image that it has been airbrushed. Any images changed from their original state are airbrushed.Many young women are greatly influenced by the media and airbrushing images is causing millions of girls around the world to feel insecure and fat. So many girls then turn to eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa in order to loose weight. While this is not always the fault of the media it lays the groundwork for this disorder to develop in a lot of people. Please sign this petition, to be taken to the UK government, if you feel that this is wrong and that we can take the first step to becoming a greater society that cares about the images it portrays to the youth of today.
