When Masaya Matsuura, critically-acclaimed PaRappa the Rapper and Vib-Ribbon creator, announced he was working with developer NanoOn-Sha and publisher Majesco on the new Wii title, everybody was more than happy.
When it was added that NanaOn-Sha was planning "a one-of-a-kind music game designed from the ground up for the Wii system" adding it will be "like a fresh breeze spreading originality and fun", everybody was all the more excited.
But when the first artworks of Major Minor's Majestic March were revealed, I think everybody was horrified. The characters look horrible and oriented at under 3 year olds children. Interest seems to lie somewhere near zero.
Developing on Wii doesn't mean that anybody can produce a crappy game with even more crappy design.
On paper, the game had potential and its developers proved that they are able to produce good and original games.
So we ask Nintendo to forbid this kind of games on its platform, and to ensure that all games that come on Wii have at last some quality in them.
We also ask Majesco to give Major Minor's Majestic March a chance, and make it a real game, with an authentic design and some content.
