In the long struggle of computing freedom, one thing has become clear: Macs are better than PCs. They are more secure and less prone to viruses and other types of attacks. Computers that are infected by viruses threaten our privacy since all the information in them is at risk. This in turn threatens our freedom since if people don't feel their personal information is being kept safe, they will avoid using computers or be distrustful of those who do. This in turn affects trust in the government and businesses. There is also the enormous economic impact to be considered. In this country alone, a small fortune is spent by businesses and individuals on anti-virus software and recovering from the frequent system problems and down time caused by Windows. This amounts to an enormous amount of wasted dollars and lost productivity.

The signers of this petition therefore encourage everyone, including individuals, businesses and government agencies, to move away from using Windows based systems and instead move to using on Mac based systems. This will save everyone an enormous amount of time, effort and money.
