We herein would like to express our gratitude to United Nation's Anti Racism Panel (CERD) for August 27 condemning of Iran's racist policies. We also would like to bring to defenders and activists of human rights attention that in all of South Azerbaijan's cities and towns such as Tabriz, Tehran, Karaj, Urmu, Erdebil, Qoshachay, Zenjan, Maku, Marand, Sufyan, Sarab, Miyana, Hamadan, Qum, Salmas, Poldasht, Sulduz, Tikan Tepe, Sayin Qala, Mugan shahr, Eher, Kelayber, Maragha, Xalxal, Meshkin Shahr, Xoy, and Julfa thousands and thousands of activists of the basic human rights are illegally imprisoned by racist regime of Iran. To name a few, Said Matinpoor, Ali Bikes, Huseyn Nasiri, Hamideh Farajzadeh, Zahra Farajzadeh, Ekber Azad, Hasan Rahimi Bayat, Dr. Alireza Abdullahi, Dr. Letif Hosni, Mahmud Fazli, Shahram Radmehr, Ayet Mehralibeglu, Behbud Qulizadeh, Aydin Khajei, Bahman Nasirzadeh, Heyder karimi, Naim Ahmadi, Yunis Suleymani, Shukrullah Qehremanifard, Ali Aghazade, Golamreza Razmi, Ali Zamani, Nima Khanlu, Murtaza Salmani, Ekber Yaveri, Mohammadtaqi Asediyan, Ali Haqiqetju, and many more are still under illegal incarceration and torture. Their sole crime is nothing but being a Turk in a Persian-Shia dominated racist regime.
We under signers announce our strong support for the UN's resolution against any kind of discrimination and racism. Alongside with this, we also, condemn Iran's racist policies towards South Azerbaijani Turks. We demand unconditional freedom of all South Azerbaijani political, freedom and human right activists from Iranian prisons.
We ask UN, Amnesty International, and all human right organizations and individuals for a decisive and serious action in freeing political, and human right activists from Iranian prisons.
