Removal of online petitions

I believe that online petitions are totally worthless.

I believe that online petitions are open to abuse through multiple signatures from the same person.

I believe that online petitions are viral and clog up inboxes.

I believe people use petitions to assuage their guilt of not doing anything.

I believe online petitions have never achieved anything at any time in any place, ever.

I believe all online petitions should be loaded into a large winged craft and flown into deep space.

I believe that the point of a petition is that people make an effort to sign the piece of paper or collate the data and the internet removes this thus showing that those involved don't care a great deal.

I believe people will sign anything.
