Remove Robbinsdale School District 281 Superintendent Stan Mack

We, the citizens residing in Robbinsdale School District (ISD #281), do present this petition to ISD #281s School Board for the immediate start of a search for a new Superintendent and the removal of the Districts current Superintendent Stan Mack from his position.

In the opinion of this petitioner and the undersigned Robbinsdale School District residents, we believe that the residents of ISD #281 no longer have confidence in the current leadership in District 281:

Special education students needs were not met on several occasions, prompting 14 complaints to the state board of education. The department found 46 violations in the past three years.

Stan Mack, along with administration, withheld knowledge of skyrocketing health care increases to the teachers of ISD 281 before their contract was signed. Teachers were told of a 30\% increase, but are finding its up to 300\% over 2 years.

Morale has suffered for the students, teachers, administration, and the community.

The District has sued (or threatened to sue) groups that have shown the District performing illegal acts against special education students or mismanaging taxpayer dollars.

School performance is lower, and ten Robbinsdale schools have failed Annual Yearly Progress tests.

Student and resident safety has decreased with increased student disruption and crime. Examples recently are the 4-year-old left on a school bus for over two hours, fights and lock-downs at Cooper High School, and an assistant girls hockey coach at Cooper arrested on sexual criminal assault charges. A second police officer was assigned to Cooper High School because of safety issues.
