Request to Put Measure A Back on the Ballot

As concerned parents and residents of Rohnert Park and Cotati, we would like the school board to put Measure A back on the ballot. We feel that the impending school closures will strongly encourage our community to vote, and that the measure will succeed. This will provide ample funding to keep our schools open. We feel that all of our schools should stay open during the 2008-2009 school year, giving time for the measure to pass.

I'm a grandparent of 3 children and have heard that the teachers at the school they attend, Gold Ridge I believe, are excellent. I have always supported the public school system and would entreat the board to review alternate options than closure
