Required: A CANADIAN Environmental Assessment for CETA which includes ENGOs

The Canadian and EU Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) negotiations have completed a ninth round, with an estimated sign-off in early 2012. CETA is the most important trade deal since NAFTA, and is considered by some as the largest and most ambitious trade deal yet. In June 2011 a CETA Sustainability Impact Assessment Report (SIA) was completed by the EU, with some advisory support from Canada.
