Restrict Boat, Trailer, Caravan and Advertising Parking on Allambie Road

This petition is to get enough concerned people involved so we can lobby for the removal of the eyesore of Caravans, Boats / trailers and Box Trailer advertising along Allambie Road. As traffic is becoming heavier in the area, especially with the construction of the new Hospital and associated infrastructure, the practice of inconsiderate people 'dumping' their boats and trailers is causing traffic build ups, especially when parked opposite or adjacent to junctions as well as hazards to cyclists as many protrude into the cycleway. This has the major effect of causing hold ups whenever residents or road users have to turn right (Darmour Avenue is a prime example) as traffic is unable to pass turning vehicles due to insufficient space to manoeuvre. There have already been a few near misses with cars swerving to the inside to get past turning vehicles only to break suddenly due to the obstructions being caused. The new legislation regarding boat / trailers is not being implemented, and appears to be a waste of time. We would like to see no parking or timed parking only from Allambie School / Allambie Oval up to the Aquatic Drive roundabout
