Dear General Motors, this Petition is to show you that the demand for the Chevrolet Tahoe 2DR, AKA 'K5' is still very much in demand. Many people were very excited to see the K5 Concept at the North American International Auto show in 2001. But our hope was demised. With the soon approaching GMT-900 platform, it would be a great time to reintroduce the Tahoe 2DR (K5). Currently with virtually all manufactures having had pulled the plug on 2DR SUV's, it would have a market all it's own. With the added possibility of a removable rear portion of the roof like the older K5, this would be a great versatile vehicle. Added the popularity with the Off-Roading crowd, thanks to its short wheelbase. And last but not lease, a diesel option would make this a great seller. Please, consider this. The demand is there and a empty spot in the market is open waiting for it.

I currently own a 1995 Sport Tahoe and would buy a new one if GM were to make it available. I love the size, look, and I still get on having a very nice looking SUV.

Great idea!!! I would love to see the 2 door tahoes come back, i probally would be driving a tahoe instead of a truck if they still made 2 doors. Although, a diesel is probally not the best engine for such a small vehical, i would love to see if come out
