Ryan Anderson was the face of the Austin Ice Bats organization for many years. During his playing days, he was a leader, and always an icon for the team such as the Bats are for the league. His rapport with the fans and his teammates is to be admired. They still look up to him as though he was their captain. Thus, we request that the Austin Ice Bats retire Ryan Anderson's #11 forever and for always, and hang it from the rafters for all to see.
