The acquittal of 'Nikhil Choudhary', the main accused in the 'Kanchan Verma', murder case is a very shocking incident. With the verdict in this particular case, it is understandable why people have lost whatever little faith they had in the country's Judicial system. This is yet another example of the unaccountability of the Central Bureau of Investigation (C.B.I.) as well as the Delhi Police. The judiciary needs to be overhauled in order to expeditiously deliver justice to people. Some stringent laws need to be formulated for this purpose.
The whole country is with the family of 'Mr. Pradeep Kumar Verma', father of Late Ms. Kanchan Verma, in this very crucial battle.
It is very shameful for the investigating agencies to help the person who committed this henious crime. This case has set a very bad precedent of how people with money and power get away very easily.

We hope that the state will act in a responsible manner so that justice is not denied.

So, we earnestly request you sir to explore all possibilities at your end for securing an effective retrial in the case. This retrial is important to prevent miscarriage of justice and to restore public faith in the state and its institutions.
