Rocky Back!

On Tuesday, January 26th, Rocky Nenka was forced to resign. Rumours are circulating, but the rumors are unimportant. Rocky was put in the position to be fired, or resign.

Rocky was on his way to becoming a great manager. He did us all a favour when he made his move from the kitchen, to the front. After going through quite a few changes previously, what a better way then to move someone that everyone knows and likes to that managing position. He is friendly, easy to talk to when you have a problem, but authoritative, and able to take charge when needed.

Rocky was just getting the managing the front of house down pat. It takes awhile to transition though, and become comfortable with your new job. He did great, great enough to take on the task of doing the schedule. And the schedule is a hard job. He has to know his employees, and their wishes. What they like, what they don't like. He took time to ask people if they were happy.

Forcing Rocky to resign, was not in the best interest of the restaurant. Maybe for a select few, but they were inconsiderate and not looking at the bigger picture. Management, (Al, Natalie, Dean, Renee) is now going to have to start working overtime, with an overload of extra work and in the midst of all that? Find a suitable new manager that can compare to Rocky.
