This petitions purpose is to keep Lt. Aiden Ford (played by Rainbow Sun Francks) as a co-star on the Sci Fi original series Stargate Atlantis instead of becoming a recurring character. Due to recent reports concerning Season 2 of Atlantis, fans of Lt. Ford have been shocked and baffled to hear that he will no longer be on the opening credits, nor will be part of the Atlantis off-world mission team. A new character is currently being cast to take his place on the team. We dont know why this has happened. Ford is vital to the Atlantis team as the 2IC and he is adored by many watchers of the show. We looked forward to learning more about him, watching him in action, and seeing him grow into his station. He has so much potential that we would enjoy seeing explored. We want him to stay.

Ford is a great character. He's got that same charisma as Kawalsky and Ferretti. Look at Kawalsky now! Killed off, but a Fan favourite.
