Save Animals! Go Veggie

We work every single day to help the environment, to try to help people over seas, to stop the war, and to help out friends and family. But, why, may I ask, do we do all of that for mankind and yet the animals that were here many thousands of years before us, we reward by killing them, just so we may have food? We try as hard as we can to save people, with firefighters and police, and there are people who actually work to kill animals. We don't need them to eat. There is living proof in vegetarians. And, for all you amazing people out there, vegans are alive and well too. So why spend our time, effort, and money on killing such beautiful creatures, unlike yourselves? There have been many theories, which I will battle.

















1. Animals will become over populated.

















No, they won't. Because animals die of natural causes too. And even if there are more of them than there are of us, who cares? They don't hurt us. Cows, pigs, chickens. You know how many deaths they cause a year? Not many. Dogs cause more then the three of those animals combined.

















2. Just because I stop eating meat doesn't mean they will stop killing animals

















Your wrong. Supply and demand. The less demand there is, the smaller supply they need. So if they need 1000 less servings of meat, they will kill 1000 less animals.

















3. I do help. I try to save endangered species.

















Which comes to my next point. You spend time and money to save the rainforest and the polar bears just because they are endangered. So if you feel bad about that, how come you don't feel bad about killing baby cows and chickens and pigs?

















4. I can't survive without meat.

















Yes, you can. I have been for more then two years and I know people who have been for more then ten. And there are plenty of people who go throughout there entire lives not eating any meat and they are very healthy. So do not use that as an excuse. You can.

















5. God put these creatures on the Earth for us to eat.

















Since when do you talk to God? How do you know he put them on Earth for us to eat? How do you know that he didn't put US on Earth for the animals to eat? Don't act like you know what He wanted. You don't. Animals are God's creatures too. It's disrespectful to eat them.


























It is so stupid how little people know. You would not like someone to come up to you and kill you and eat you just because you are there. It's illegal for someone to kill another human. Make it illegal for someone to kill any sort of animal!
