We, the undersigned, support Policy NR20.1 and LU1.6 of the Newport Beach General Plan, "Land Use Element, Goals and Policies, Public Views" which states that new developments in the City must:
"Protect, and where feasible, enhance, significant scenic and visual resources that include open space, mountains, canyons, ridges, ocean and harbor for public vantage points. (Imp 1.1)"
Specifically, as it pertains to the public view of the ocean, the harbor and Balboa Peninsula from Begonia Park.
