This week, Anna Maria Island faces the possibility of a major loss to the community.
The Manatee County Commissioners will vote in the next few days on whether to renew Cafй on the Beach and The Beach Shops lease. The recommendation to the County Commission is to offer the lease to a company outside the community, though Cafй on the Beach and the Beach Shop outbid the competition, have 20 years of experience, and are loved by people from around the country.
Help us make our elected officials see reason and keep Cafй on the Beach and The Beach Shop.
Cafй on the Beach and The Beach Shop provide something rare in coastal Florida: peaceful, family-friendly, clean beaches with good, reasonably priced food and unique beach shopping from people who care about the community. Lets keep it that way.
