Save our Beloved Smatrie Tube

Recently, it has been decided that after 68 years smarties will no longer be packed in the round tube, as Nestlй fear that it will NOT be eye catching to the "Children of the Future." The much loved "smartie tubes" will be replaced by a 6-sided box, and to our dismay, the fun-poppin' plastic lids will be scrapped and replaced by a pathetic cardboard lid. Think of all those fun times you had as a child, when the lid "accidentally" popped out of the tube, and hit one of your friends?? Also, to those of you who are environmentally friendly, think of all those extra trees that will have to be torn down to support all the extra cardboard.
The "children of the future," will thank us one day. So sign our petition to save our beloved smartie tube!! Altogether now..."Weeee shall, we shall save the tube!"
