Parks and Recreation serves this country on a local and national level as well, providing knowledgeable and competent park managers and leisure professionals to serve in our community, state parks, and national parks, to name a few.
These three professions although different in many ways all focus on enhancing the lives of individuals, with or without disabilities, young or old, those active in their communities, and those with active lifestyles along with providing opportunities to anyone who wishes to include leisure in their lives.
