The White House bar as we know it is coming to an end on July 31st 2016 and re-opening as a sports bar.....anyone who knows and loves this bar will understand how shocking this thought is.....The White House is an iconic establishment and is much loved for its old fashioned decor and wonderful poetry evenings and laid back atmosphere...the thought of it being replaced by a sports bar is a disturbing and saddening thought...please sign this petition and spread the word - maybe we can change the new owners mind...maybe he could just update the pub and freshen it up a little without changing it into something so shockingly different.....Many thanks.
