Petition Say No To Mollys Tavern and Casino
Liquor and Gaming License
We feel the Entitlement Approved with SUP37373 is Not Accurate AND The Use is not Compatible with the Intent of The Town Center Development Standards.

We, the undersigned, oppose the licensing of gaming and liquor for Mollys Tavern located at the shopping center at 6430 Sky Pointe Drive, Suite #130 in the Centennial Target Shopping Center. We agree with City Planning when they said in their staff report, The request is inconsistent with the Town Center Development Standards. The City Council approved a "Special Use Permit for a 3,534 Square-Foot Liquor Establishment, Tavern with a waiver to allow a 147-foot distance separation from a City Park where 400 feet is the Minimum distance required." However, the Special Use Permit DID NOT take into consideration the child care facility or church located at the YMCA, which are 145-feet from the location. "Title 19.04.010 - No Liquor Establishment (Tavern) shall be located closer than 400-feet from a church, synagogue, child care facility licensed for 12 or more children, or City Park. Urge the City Council to deny the liquor and gaming license and make the applicant apply for a Special Use Permit for distance waivers to both the church and child care facility located 142 feet from Mollys Tavern.

77. Yale Y | Please have some respect for the families who use the YMCA, parks, day care and churches in this area. They were promised a family corridor. Keep that promise with a no vote on the liquor and gaming license.
76. James Es | I concur with those opposing the establishment of this business for the many and varied reasons stated.
