If you are worried about your child's education the school might start later, but it would cover the same required material as all of the other schools in Pennsylvania. If your school, or your child's school, starts after Labor Day they would still end in June, and they would have all of the holidays as schools starting before Labor Day. They would still follow the required 180 curriculum. Many people plan Labor Day weekend trips, so for them this would be helpful so many students will not be pulled out of school and miss days of work, with this petition they could have fun, not miss school and have a perfect, final weekend in the summer before school starts.
