Slow down and move over law

The "Slow Down Move Over" law has been implemented in a number of American states to keep roadside workers safe. Vehicle recovery operators, motorway maintenance, council workers even people broken down in their cars have been run over and crashed into over the years and seriously injured or killed due to people not paying any respect to amber warning lights. 

What the slow down move over law states is that when travelling on the road and you see amber warning lights you pull into the next lane and give good clearance to the people working on the hardshoulder or road side giving them space and safety to work. If its not safe to pull over or there is only a narrow passage then slow down, otherwise penalty points and a fine will be issued.
